| We are in the midst of a budget crisis. The government cannot continue to borrow millions from China and then give it away to other countries. The primary role of government is to protect the people and keep them safe. So the primary expenditure is going to be defense. Every American has to balance their checkbook, the government should be held accountable to do the same. | |||
| The government is always talking about ways to inject money into the economy and ways to get the economy moving. Imagine if a flat-tax were introduced, corporate taxes were lowered, and the tax code simplified. No more loopholes, everyone is on the same level playing field, and every person pays the same percentage. This would be an instant shot into the arm of every single American, an instant pay raise across the board, higher spending, more companies hiring, and an economic boom like we've never seen. | |||
| The biggest priority is immigration, taxes, and spending. First, before we can do anything on immigration, we must build a wall and secure the border. Then we make immigration reform, strengthen our E-verify system so no illegal immigrant can take hard working American jobs. I would also reform the tax code and make it so simple that anyone can do it. A simple flat-tax percentage, no more loopholes, no need for deductions because of the low rate, and reining in our out of control spending. |
